A little about me and my work…..

On leaving school I began a Fine Art Ceramics degree at Cardiff in the late 70’s; Plans change, and I built a career managing stock inventory for some National and Multi National brands; my degree incomplete. Although I would not touch clay for many years, my interest in, and love of ceramic as an expressive medium stayed with me. In 2023 I joined a community studio close to home in Northamptonshire the rest…. is history.

I make individual wheel thrown forms, both decorative and functional, working in stoneware and porcelain and drawing indirectly on observations and experiences of nature; I enjoy the tactile nature of clay during all stages of the making process, and in the finished work.
